Read John 6:60-69

5. In verse 61 we see Jesus’ followers grumbling, and Jesus asks if they’re offended. Where do you find yourself grumbling and offended most often? What might Jesus be trying to show you through those emotions?

 

6. After Jesus lays out the hard truth, many of the people following him decide to leave. Jesus then asks the twelve if they too want to leave.

Why do you think many of the followers leave?

When have you thought about leaving?

 

7. When does doubt creep in for you? Do you notice that worry, fear and doubt are seem closely behind one another? How does remembering the resurrection help with your doubt?
